You may skip some, or even many, of the presentations on this site and your life will not be affected at all. But if you haven’t seen this movie and you don’t choose to watch it you will have missed one of the most important presentations ever made about the subject of diabetes.
It’s alarming, it’s sad beyond expression, and it’s a call to action for us. It’s particularly important for our families and children that we understand what happened and what to do about it.
The movie has all the ingredients that a good movie has. It has heroes and villains. It has sadness and tragedy and it has elation and deliverance. It has a happy ending with an uplifting message. Most of all, it has hope. If you let it.
It’s about an hour long. Fairly short for a movie of this importance. Find an hour to watch it.
PS
This movie is centered on type one diabetes but the implications for type two diabetes and other maladies are a given.
After watching this you may look at your doctor differently depending upon the advice and treatment he gives. You may even have to look for a new doctor.
